			<description>Hi, Im not sure if this drug is available in Australia, I havent heard anything about it.
The standard of care (SOC) treatment for hepatitis C is Interferon/Ribavirin, either for 24wks or 48wks depending on Genotype.
I would advise you to go to another doctor and get a second opinion.
If you ring the Hepatitis C Council in your state of Australia they will be able to provide you with a list of Hepatitis C friendly doctors and specialists in your area.
Im sorry to hear about your brother inlaw, but seriously he needs to see a specialist as soon as possible.

			<description>is this drug approved in Australia....where can i get it and how much will it cost..is it effective for hep c sufferers....my brother in law is being treated by a doctor that seems to know nothing about the disease and doesnt want to know anymore...meanwhile my rather large well built inlaw has wasted away to 46 kilos and suffers with some severe pain....i dont know what to do ,,,nor does he...he thinks he will die very soon...help - Alarna</description>
