Hep C Council QLD Flood Information PDF Print E-mail

To our members and wider community, the staff at HCQ would like to pass on our thoughts during this time. So many people have been deeply affected by the devastating floods across Qld and we would like to let you know you are in our thoughts during this time of crisis, and we would like to facilitate support where possible.

Any members whose homes have been affected by flooding are welcome to contact council staff. We have a trained psychologist available for support, and staff may be able to assist with transport to clinic appointments. If you have any specific health concerns or issues (such as damaged fridges for medication) please contact us and we can use our networks and wider community contacts to help each other in this time of crisis.

If people have concerns about hepatitis A (transmitted through oral contact with raw sewerage) when a person is unvaccinated, feel free to contact HCQ staff for more information on 1800 437 222 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
