The album is called This Day: World Hepatitis Day PDF Print E-mail

Dear all,

Over the last year the World Hepatitis Alliance has been working with well-known musicians from around the world to develop an album of songs to be launched on World Hepatitis Day 2010. It includes collaborations by artists of diverse nationalities to represent and reinforce the importance of global co-operation in tackling hepatitis B and C.

The album is called This Day: World Hepatitis Day

The World Hepatitis Alliance has developed the album for supporting organisations and patient groups to sell in their own country to raise awareness around World Hepatitis Day.   All money that is made by selling these CDs can be kept by the organisation, and all that the Alliance asks is that they register their interest in selling hard copies of the album with them first.   As a guide the CD will be sold in the UK for £5.99 or 6.99 Euros.  Please sell the CD at an appropriate price for your country.

Please note that only the World Hepatitis Alliance is permitted to sell digital downloads of the album.  Any other group who uploads the album to websites for downloading will be asked to remove it.

On Monday 19 April 2010 the album, all associated artwork and promotional materials will be made available for you to download from a file sharing site.  You can then use this to make copies.  A reminder email will be sent to you once the album is ready for you to download.  If you would like to take part in this campaign please register your interest by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. All copyright and royalty considerations have been managed by the WHA.  We have been granted a royalty free period of ONE YEAR from 19 May 2010 until 19 May 2011 so you can keep 100% of any sales you make in that 12 months period.

We hope you are as excited by this project as we are.  It is truly a major step in getting the entertainment industry to support our cause and will hopefully help raise awareness and understanding of hepatitis around the world.
